Cashmere socks are the ultimate in luxury, incredibly soft and an excellent light-weight insulator - warm in winter, cool in summer. Cashmere is the fibre obtained from the undercoat and throat of Kashmir goats, the coarse hairs are removed and the fine, soft hairs are woven into cashmere. Cashmere is a great investment in socks as it is very durable, rarely pills and can last a lifetime - in fact it actually becomes softer with age!
